My Journey To Ysrayl

Around 2003 I got the chance to occasionally co-host a popular local radio show called Real Talk. It was through that show that I got the chance to interview and personally meet a hero of mine—Dr. Claud Anderson. Dr. Anderson has written numerous books that focus on ethno-aggregation and real black history, not the whitewashed pabulum we are fed in most schools.

Before meeting Dr. Anderson, I had bought tapes of many of his previous lectures. There was always something new and exciting that he shared during his speeches. But it was one lecture in particular that changed not only my world perspective, but my spiritual perspective as well. Dr. Anderson gave a lecture at a mega-church in Los Angeles, CA. I believe it was Crenshaw Christian Center. During his lecture he mentioned two things that were really profound to me at that time. First he stated that back in the 1950’s Prime Minister, Gamal Nasser of Egypt made headlines around the world when he quipped about the so-called Jews in Israel. Nasser said about the Jews, “You will never be able to live here in peace, because you left here black and came back white1”.

Dr Anderson went on to say that the people who call themselves Palestinians were really descendants of the Philistines. (Note: This was further confirmed by my brothers who went to Ysrayl a couple of years ago. The Palestinians they interviewed all said the same thing: that they were NOT Ysraylites but descendants of the Philistines). Then to cap it all off, Dr. Anderson said, “You know, you are really the Hebrew Israelites.” He was speaking of us, the so-called Negro. Now that got all of my attention. Dr. Anderson is not a man who speaks a lot of hyperbole. He tries to say only what he can prove. Well, that truly put me on another spiritual and educational track altogether. I began to read everything I could about ancient history. Egypt, Mesopotamia, the whole region. And what I found out was stunning.

I began to see all the lies about ancient civilization I had been taught. I remember my days in college. We were taught that there were no civilizations before the Greeks. What an absurd assertion. Research showed that the Greeks and the Romans were in fact the barbarians. And together they borrowed or stole everything they could get their hands on in the ancient world to make themselves more powerful. What they could not steal or borrow, they destroyed as evidenced by the burning of the great library at Alexandria, Egypt. Thousands of scrolls that showcased the wealth of Egyptian knowledge were set ablaze.

The more I researched Egypt the more I knew what a farce Greek and Roman culture was. While the Greeks had some respect for the brilliance of Egyptian culture and even tried to forge a cultural wedding between the two cultures, the Romans could care less. They only cared about gaining power and retaining it. Roads and taxes were their mantra. Roads to take their armies to a fight, and taxes to pay for the roads.

I also learned during my research that the Greeks had no script. They had no alphabet, which meant they could not read or write. Guess where they got their alphabet? From the Phonecians2. The Phoenicians were called the “purple people”. But just who were they? They were black-skinned people we call the Canaanites. More about that a little later.

All this study was very refreshing and illuminating. I was becoming an Egyptologist. Everything was centered on Egypt. I found myself looking to Egypt for aid just as our ancestors looked to her for salvation when foreign armies stormed Israel, such as Assyria and Babylon. Egypt the great was becoming my salvation. While I was growing in a lot of ways, I was still empty and striving for something I could not touch or grasp. I was frustrated and bewildered. I fell into a heavy depression or what seemed like a deep dread, because I wanted to know the truth.

So each day I prayed that the Creator would just lead me to the truth. Weeks and months went by and then somehow, I don’t reminder how, I received an email that featured a booklet entitled, “The Gospel, Raw and Uncut” by someone named Josiah Israel. This booklet was very small. It was basically a bunch of 81/2 x 11 inch pages folded and stapled in the middle. I paid less than $10 for it. Today on Amazon.com it sells for about $200.

This booklet really opened my eyes about who the Creator is, His name and who I was. I spent a lot of my time reading over that treatise. And re-reading it. I wanted to know more. Sometime later I stumbled across a website called www.hebrewheritage.com. It presented a lot of information including a DVD set that broke down the physical appearance of the Hebrew Israelites and the sons of Ham.

After viewing that DVD set, things began to really gel for me. I thought about the lectures of Claud Anderson and his insight into who the so-called Negro really is. I thought about all the study of ancient cultures and civilizations I had done. And then that booklet: The Gospel, Raw,Uncut. And Unheard. And now I had this DVD set that presented historical facts to further confirm who we are. I began to see that YAH was answering my petitions. He was leading me step by step like a little child into the knowledge of the truth. HalleluYAH!

P.S. The best documentary available to date that lays out who we really are is a DVD entitled, “Hebrew, or The So-Called Negro“.  You can order it from here: http://cofahstore.com/main.sc. It is also available on Amazon.com.
